Please, DO NOT vote for SMB!

This! Please, vote for Bit Runner 2 instead, because this game was only on 50% sale once, and it an awesome game! Please, elaborate!

Voted for Retro Rampage, I thought Bit.Trip would win. It's hard to believe there are many that don't own this. Welp, guess I was wrong.

Nothing wrong with Bit.Trip.

same here. never purchased it and I want it now. always those "everbody owns it already" arguements... no it's not like you think. there are people who might discovered that game a bit late or didn't use steam before. don't assume everbody owns the game already because it is on sale often.

Everyone already owns Bit Runner 2..

Every community vote is most likely going to become a daily deal. And clearly not everyone owns it because they voted for it.

I really don't get why people won't take risks with these votes. People vote for what they already own, have played or know, and mostly don't even check the other candidates they don't already know well about.

Super Meat Boy has been on sale a bazillion times already, yet people know that it is a good game, and thus vote for it, despite more uncommon alternatives. I bet that 75% of the votes for SMB this time were placed by people who already own the game anyway.

I am slightly sad Meat boy won but I knew it would happen :/
I mean it was released in 2010.. The game has went through so many sales. But people vote for what they know.
Retro City Rampage which I would have liked to win was released 2012 so not so many sales for it.Shame :/

FYI, it's already on sale at GMG at 75% off.

Would have bought RCR.

I always remember how a guy reported multiple times a security issue with SMB's database directly to the developers, even offered to help but they were like "don't worry dudebro, we've been doing this for years" and ignored the issue. Then got hacked, rendering leaderboards being full of ♥♥♥♥♥ and custom maps unplayable. Good times.

people saying the only people who voted for super meat boy are people who own it already, then how could it reach one of the most purchased list? people are still buying this game because it is a good game.

Obviously everyone has infinite money and just like to buy the same game over and over again duh! Come on man. Nobody wants a different game. They just buy several more copies of games they already have!

Seriously though. PEople just don't realize how massive the Steam userbase is. I bet people think there are about 1 million users total. XD
