I'm getting the same thing. It has that screen that says to use a controller (I have my xbox 360 controller plugged in) and then it never loads. If I try to click on anything it just says (not responding). I was able to play it a couple of months ago with no controller, but now, nothing.

Have also had this problem. Tried on a different PC (with Vista) and it boots and plays without problems. Not been able to figure out what exactly is causing the problems though.
