well, I wish I was there to see that moment of ultimate rage. I can just picture it: he collects the key, dashes through the level avoiding the salt at every turn, then, out of the blue, one of the blasters shoots him. Next thing you know, that laptop is a bird that just busted through a window.

You are almost right, He found my baseball bat first then it went out the window.
