My game keeps on crashing

Every time I try to play Super Meat Boy the game always takes about 3 tries just to get it to not crash. Does anyone else have this problem/have a solution?

Nah this has been a problem for quite a while. And for some reason, Team meat haven't addressed it, or the problem with alt+tabbing OR the broken cloud saves

For me, the magic number is 2 -- it crashes the first time I try launching it, then on the second try, it works fine. But, since it takes only couple seconds, it's not such a big deal for me.

same problem, and i cant run the game at all - tried to start 5 times, 5 crashes with a message "An error has occurred, mini-dump (hehe) sent to Team Meat. We'll fix this ASAP".

Mine crashes every single time it starts up. Tried reinstalling, messing with .dlls, verifying, all sorts - nothing. Pretty annoying. All I want is to grab my trading cards!

Mine crashes about half the time and very rarely in the middle of the actual game. *Waiting for a solution as well .*

This game is the biggest fail on Steam. It's simply crashing every time after the gamepad screen what appears at the beginning.

I think all of us should ask for a refund.

launching the .exe as Windows xp service pack 2 seem to help crash though , right click .exe to change it

Is there no fix yet I havn't played it for 8~9 months becaue of it. I think it might possibly do with sound for me though.
