Restoring "factory" settings.
So...i went and did something stupid, maybe...i was drunk.

Anyhow, somehow i went and screwed up the resolution settings (don't ask why i was monkeying around with them, 'cause i couldn't begin to say). So, now, when i start up the game, instead of going full screen, it's just a box about 3/4's of the screen big...which wouldn't be a problem, 'cept it's completely black.

i can hear the music/start sound effects running, so the program's chugging along, it would seem, but since i can't see anything, i can't fix...whatever the hell i did. Tried to uninstall it and download/install over again, and that was no

i don't know what the heck to do at this point. Don't know if any of you can give me any advice, but i'd sure as heck appreciate it if you could.

Thanks for anything, and have a good evening.

Sorry for getting back to you so has been busy.

i think i tried deleting my User Data during my first attempts to fix things. Didn't help, but it did nix my save game as well. Now (after various poking aorund), i still can't get it to run through steam...but i seem to have no trouble accessing it from my desktop (and when i do, it does all the steam-y stuff, like saving 'cheevos and F12screenshots, and the like), so *shrug* i guess it's no big thing, in the end?

At any rate, thanks for trying to lend a hand P'orange. Hope you have a good evening, yeah.

exactly the same thing happened to me with half life after weeks of searching i found the answer, first find out your screen resolution (some sites on the internet can tell you if your not sure) start up steam, click on library, right click on super meatboy and go down to properties, click it and then type in -w 1366 -h 768 (i used 1366 and 768 as their my resolution but you can change it to yours.
