Havig trouble learing how to jump on time

I like this game alot, but am totally stuck on level 3 ad cant seem to control my poor little meat boy XP any advice on how to get more formiliar with the controls?

If it's the third level in Chapter 1 you're talking about, you need to hold down Shift to gain enough momentum to get over that gap. Other than that I don't know what advice to give. SMB is a tough game and really the only way to get better at it is to just practice. Prepare to die a lot and try to not get frustrated, and eventually you'll just breeze through the levels.

Same sentiment here. If it is 1-3 you're talking about, holding Shift makes Meat Boy sprint, which allows you to cross the gap. Move, sprint, and jump are the only real controls, but the game does an equally good job of making each level its own challenge and throwing the player right back into the action when they almost inevitably mess up. It sometimes feels more like a game of patience than a game of skill, but it's definitely worth it.

Pick up an XBOX controller. This game was designed for it. If you are having trouble on level 3....I'm pretty sure the next 297 levels are not going to be any easier. Good luck.

I figured out that my shift key has a bit of a jam.... Dont have an Xbox controler but thanks for the help I guess... :P
