So it doesn't seem like another Meat Boy will be happening for a good while. But you could ask Edmund himself about it at http://edmundm.com/ask He's usually pretty awesome about answering questions.
Still have a lot work to do... before a sequel arrive.
However they could totally change their mind if they wanted to but it looks like they are busy with Mewgenics and Rebirth right now
That's what they must have thought back in 2010, but Ed did say on his Tumblr the other day that he believes there some day will be Super Meat Boy 2[edmundm.com]. He's already said in the past that SMB: The Game is not a sequel, so I don't know if this should be interpreted that at some point in the future there will exist three Super Meat Boy games?
About their other games, in addition to Ed being the lead designer for TBoI: Rebirth, Team Meat is working on some secret projects like someone already mentioned here. Except if I remember correctly, they're working on TWO secret projects. At least at the end of this[tommyrefenes.tumblr.com] post by Tommy, he says "...the other games Team Meat is working on." That's plural, so who knows what they're up to?
That would mean they're working on four games in total plust Rebirth if you want to count that in. Think about that.
No mention of Super Meat Boy but I'm all for new Team Meat games regardless!
