Why are people trading for one key?
I'm not sure if this belongs here or on the trading forum, since I'm not actually making any trade. Not sure anyway since this may have to do with Steam economics slightly more than Super Meat Boy. If I'm posting wrong, please forgive me, and I can delete this.

But yeah, as the title implies. I noticed since the sale started today, people have been offering the game for one key. Problem is, the game is $3 and any possible key is less than that. Aren't traders losing money that way?

It has something to do with regional pricing. Some places like Russia get lower price for most games in order to increase sales in a market plagued by piracy. So traders there buy it for lower price in their regional currency then profit by trading games for keys.

That explains a lot actually. Maybe that's also why certain games have region locks?
