Definitely worth it. The difficulty is just right, not too easy and not too difficult. It is hard the first time you play, but you improve very quickly.

I'm an expert gamer. I died 500 times in the first chapter, but I managed to get all the secrets. There's so many deaths that I'm choosing to forgo the 100 bandage achievement, and I'm going to play through the rest of chapter 3 and the game for only the ending. It's that hard.
