When is this going to be added to Steam for Linux libraries?

I was curious when this is going to be added to the Steam for Linux libraries?

It's strange that they haven't. It already has a linux version, and the only difference is a simple executable.

I'd like this too. I already own Machinarium but would happily purchase Botanicula as well if they added that, too.

I would as well, but Botanicula uses Adobe Air which can be problomatic for Linux considering it's a dead platform :*(

I could be totally off here, but how is Adobe Air a problem? As far as I know, the Linux version of Botanicula does already exist, and it's being distributed through Amanita shop and Desura so there shouldn't be anything stopping it from being on Steam as well.

It does exist and does work fine, however it differs from the latest Mac and Windows version as they use a newer version of Air that isn't available for Linux. It would have to packaged to use the older version to work for Linux. I'm not suggesting its not possible or that it doesn't work; I'm just upset that Adobe killed Linux support for Air and pretty killed the entire platform.

Would the dev please at least post on here whether or not they plan to upload the Linux binary to Steam?? If not I'll buy it on Desura, but I'd rather buy it through Steam.

This is available for Linux on Desura/Desurium, so I guess since the devs haven't mentioned anything about a Linux release on Steam I'll just buy it on Desura.
