The game have trading cards now!!!

I just saw a couple of mintues ago, that the game have steam trading cards, does this mean that we will get a patch soon to fix bugged achievements :) it's kinda stupid from me to relate this to that, but i hope so

Would be nice if that game got another patch, but I think the game is not getting anymore support. Shame really I would love to have seen some more DLC, such a great looking game, I sure hope to see a Risen 3 someday.

the devs announced a while ago that they are working on a new game, it's Risen 3: Oceans :)

Why are people so excited over "trading cards"? I have quite a few and don't even bother with them.

I like the trading cards cause you can sell then .. it may only be between 10-15 cents but it adds up ... I only sell my dupes and so far have made over $50. Again not much but it helps when the sales happen and you can get games for under $5.

Hm... the cards for Risen 1 look much better! Hopefully they update the games, so you can get all achievements easily and also steam achievements for the first part.

Adding cards to a game is quite easy, but there is not enough time and money for a patch. Unless devs are swimming in money, there will always be broken features or things which didnt make it into the final game. Fixing broken achievements can be tough and most devs just remove them.

Funny: Publisher Deep Silver, which is a subsidiary of Koch Media, the biggest game publisher in europe cant give Piranha Bytes enough time and money to finish their product? Thats just a shame.
