Unable to finish "Garcia's Ship" quest - Cordobar attack me on sight

Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help me. I just wanted to finish this quest but i believe it's not possible. I took care of Garcia and now I believe the quest cannot be finished.

Cordobar is in at a room on the left before entering the fire portal.

I have the same problem. I uncovered Garcia, killed Cordobar, and then found that ship. It turned out that in order to finish this quest I have to talk to Cordobar who's now dead...

Anyway, I read on the Internet that it is possible to spawn a character using console but it doesn't work...

So I have no idea how to solve this.

Well as far as I remember you need to play the game just before you chose the faction. And you will be able to finish it.

Well as far as I remember you need to play the game just before you chose the faction. And you will be able to finish it.

I don't understand. I mean, I'm with the natives, I killed Cordobar and I don't see how I can possibly finish this quest since the quest giver is dead.

There's no achievement for this quest, though, so I'll just skip it, I guess.

Yes, what I said is that you can choose one faction at the middle of the game. Depending on what faction you choose you can't finish all the quests because some are related to a specific faction.

It's been awhile, but IIRC, there's a way to complete this quest. Try going back to the Inquisition's base and talk to the guy in charge.

Done that, doesn't work. It has to be Cordobar, whom I killed. I think nothing can be done about it. Pity. :P

I know this is a slight necro, but I thought of a possible answer. Try talking to Osamu. He's in that little dead-end path in the southeast corner of the map, and I'm not sure, but he might be able to put you on an alternate path to progressing with the main quest. That makes the issue totally moot.

Done that, didn't work. Just forget it. I'm afraid the quest is bugged if you don't talk to Cordobar before it is revealed he's a pirate.

type pommes to activate test mode, then spawn both of dem pirates in disguise to finish that quests ;)

spawn Egas
spawn Cordobar

Despite they just joined hostile 'faction' when nameless hero find out about their true identity you can still speak to them. Providing you did it before failing these quest by killing the 'real' ones. Then just save and quit game. Reload the last one, and both false NPCs spawned by you disappear, and you can proceed as normal finding them inside the cave next to a fire shield.

Ah, and ignore that Menace123 guy, he has clearly no idea about the issue here.

I know it's an ancient topic, but people like to play old games so hopefully someone finds it helpful.

Yes, you are absolutely right, this whinery about "necroing" is a thing for people from 8-12 years. A good info is a good info, no matter how old it is and most of the threads of games i play are years old, thank god nearly no one cares about the necro-kiddos.

Wait, so what's the deal here? Are you stuck with uncompletable quest in your journal for the rest of the playthrough (in that case how do you get that quest with Cordobar already dead?)? Or you just don't want the dissatisfaction of failing the quest by killing Cordobar and forfeiting 200 glory?

To finish this quest '' Garcia's Ship '' You gotta kill the crew. Then go back to the cave like you show on the pictures, right before the portal and kill Cordobar. Once you did all that, you can return back to the beginning of the island, where you have your ship. Neat that temple there is an officer/guard you can talk to and let him know you have seized the ship. Then the quest is finished and they have a ship so they can leave the island. Hope that helps.
