C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander 2

go to game.prefs - change " primary_adapter = "around line 263 back to your native resolution. It may be trying to open a display mode you can't run. This happened to me when I downgraded back to a 19" monitor from a 24" with a higher resolution.

SC2 normally works on both systems (32 | 64bit, Intel | Amd)
yes, there is only one problem: if you run the game on high resolution and then on a smaller - the game will not start before deleting | editing Game.prefs

and i hear there can be problem with sound drivers 7.1 - try switch to 2.0 mode
+ if you use skype | teamspeak - you need to properly configure the audio devices
most computers have two of them - should be assigned to each program different sound device

should be in Steam/Steamapps/Common/Supreme Commander 2

The file should be in there, the first Supreme Commander folder. The root folder.
