I hope we'll fix this nasty issue for you. Still... please forgive us, this is only hidden VR prototype :)
Please enable low-persistance. It feels pretty uncomfortable without it.
Besides from those minor issues, the VR mode is awesome.:)
Your experiment is amazing! There's is a huge demand for top notch games like yours to have VR enabled, and I'm happy to help test anything you need. I left more thoughts over at: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/3kljsb/psa_the_ue4_version_of_vanishing_of_ethan_carter/
Doesn't seem to be an issue here; it's enabled if you get a steady 75fps. Do you experience a lot of stuttering?
I get steady 75fps most of the time. It drops only in a few places sometimes.
I tried to enable it via the confg as some suggested here https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/3kljsb/psa_the_ue4_version_of_vanishing_of_ethan_carter/cuyk61m
but that didn't work for me too. I just have this heavy ghosting all the time.
Hmm, that's weird. I get no ghosting at all. It's definitely enabled. What OS, SDK version? I'm assuming you have FPS unlocked as well.
Win 8.1, SDK 0.6.0.1..
Ah, that might be it. Win 10, 64bit, 0.7 SDK here.
ok, thanks. I'll try it with 0.7 and maybe switch back to 0.6, in case it doesn't work.
I'm still with 0.6 because I want to be able to play other games like Assetto Corsa :)
Instant buy today for my rift and this a very great experience in VR
