Stop addons from auto downloading to GMOD?

Is it possble to stop addons auto downloading to GMOD, when you starts GMOD??

I would think all you would have to do is let it install it once and once it's done uninstall it from gmod.

Yeah, but when it almost finished installing, it kinda crashes! even when I am playing with the downloading thing on, it crashes!!
