How to make addons from GMOD 10 work in GMOD 13?
How do I make past addons work in GMOD 13? Is there a way to update them?

I know how to (On a windows), Once you have a mod go to Program Files (x86)/ Steam / steamapps / (Your username) / garrysmod / garrysmod. Once you have your file ready you should open your GMod 10 mod to where you see models materials ECT. Extract everything from the GMod 10 mod to your GMod 13 folder (Might not want to put in ReadMe files only bogs it down) then Enjoy your mod!

NO dont listen to ^^^^^ If you want to do it even simpler.. change the info.txt's name into addon.txt.. but maybe the lua is still a bit messed up

Mine is more reliable....... I think........... I can have multiple mods installed at once it's almost exactly the old way (Which i like). :)

In my case, my addon includes both the NPC and the ragdoll in the same folder, and share the same model. It's confusing.

Well I use the Legacy mod but like what Benno950 said, you should change the info.txt files in the addons to addon.txt
thankfully there's a program (I forgot the name unfortunately) that helps change the name of those files automatically

There is a problem when I try that. What I get is: Program Files (x86)/ Steam / steamapps / (my username) / garrysmod / garrysmod_old. Does that change anything?

two options: 1-Download the new addons. 2-Ask someone to fix the .lua files
