Spawnlists, textures, addon icons, etc. HALP

About a month ago, I tried playing GMod on a wifi network that doesn't allow games. As a result of my mistake that day, I could not save my work. I figured, "okay, no games, so I can't save. I'll just do it again when I get home." Later that day, when I tried to save my game, it wouldn't save. I figured it was just a bug, so I let it play out for a few days so I could work with a newer update. When the update came out, I opened up GMod, and my spawnlists were completely gone. I thought it was another bug, so I waited AGAIN for an update patch. When I had the next patch, THEY WERE STILL GONE. Since then, ALL OF THE MODELS, RAGDOLLS, AND NPCS THAT ARE PRE-MOUNTED ONTO THE GAME HAVE NOT BEEN THERE. I even looked in the "Games" folders, and nothing still. I'm not sure what happened, but I think maybe it was the weird wifi network that screwed everything up. Now, ON TOP of all this, the icons for all my addons (which never had a problem) are not visible. The only way I can tell them apart is by mousing over them and looking at their file names which half the time make absolutely no sense at all. In addition, ever since this all started, textures for EVERY MAP has been the Pink-and-Black Checkerboards of Death. The only maps that are unaffected by this error is gm_construct and gm_flatgrass. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I haven't been able to make ANY machinimas or videos during this time, and it's really slowing me down. Literally. I've already tried reinstalling the game and all its content, but the only thing it fixed was the fact that I couldn't get out of an SCAR as soon as I was in it. HHHHHAAAAAALLLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!

I should also point point out that if you don't know what I mean by "spawnlists" you can say it's as if Half Life 2 ITSELF became unmounted from the game. Don't ask how, because that's what I'M asking.

if you cant see the flashlight, your spawnlist is empty, your icons are missing, and everything on everymap is purple and black, i and some freinds have the SAME DAMN PROBLEM

me as well. only my css maps will work. and i agree with fluffy. I had the same thoughts when it happened to me.
