[Linux] client.so not found
Hi there people, I get this message when I try to lauch Gmod:

bin\client.so: cannor open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Now what?

Same problem here. But before game worked alright. Other source games are still working alright. Sounds like a bug after update.

And what is a PC please?

Verify your game install by going to properties and there should be a tab that will give you options on viewing, deleting, and verifying files. One the verification is done restart steam and test the game. If the problem persists then uninstall the game and do a clean install of the game.

we all tried that at least 5 times, nothing works...

Pretty sure you mean buy a Windows PC, but Gary's Mod has the Linux symbol and should therefore be able to run on the linux version of Steam, which it seems it doesn't. A game fix is needed for this, not a computer fix.

Same here! IMO it may be caused by the "Windows-style" slashes in that screenshot, because the file is actually there...
