Game won't launch at all?

While running in administrator I'll launch it, it says running, then the box pops up saying preparing to launch gmod, and everything just stops for no reason. Tried re-installing steam and verifying integrity and nothing has worked.

Nevermind apparently restart isn't good enough, you have to actually shut it down all the way, and then I launched it in admin mode and it magically worked.
