Portal 3 Idea

Well, I love Portal 1 & 2, but I've beat the campaigns multiple times, and the prepetual testing initiative, for some reason, has no storyline anymore (I don't know if that's just me). But I'm thinking that Portal 3 could be about the Cave Johnson era, like how Apreture (sorry bout spelling) Science was developed, and Cave and his ground up moon rocks. Just an idea, so tell me what you think, and if this would be a good idea for a Portal 3 (or 2.5 because Valve apperently can't count to 3 :p )

I've got an awesome idea.

How about in the game universe they invent this gun. Not a gun to kill people, nono...too violent. but a gun that shoots and opens a translocational doorway. You'd need two of these doorways, obviously. and you walk through one and come out of the other side of the doorway where you put the second one. and the player could use this gun and the doorways it creates to solve puzzles and stuff.

what do you guys think? is this a good idea? I think it's a good idea. I like it.

i think you should just let valve deal with Portal 3 they will decide if they want it or not

Portal 3 should be about Wheatley coming back to Earth in a massive robot body and taking his revenge on GlaDos and then P-Body and Atlas find Chell and with them they have GlaDos's head and a portal gun and GlaDos begs Chell to stop Wheatley and the only way to stop him is to find the elusive Doug Rattman tell me what you think of this

I don't see too much story in it, but sounds like a good game.

if portal 3 ever comes out there should be robot zombies and you can only kill them if you in to that posin water stuff and you can change the coler of your portals.

I kind of want to get away from Aperture for awhile. Granted, I don't think you could have really good portal gameplay anywhere else, but I'm personally more interested in seeing Chell's story outside the facility. Start the game right where Portal 2 left off, and have the whole game be about Chell trying to figure out what the heck happened to earth and all the people while she was underground. It would make for a nice bit of mystery and lonelyness that was so strong in the first game.
