These weird portals please help

i watched portle 1 on youtube yesturday i got it but the portle textures are diffrent the video was a 2013 video please help i want the normal textures

Add "-dxlevel 90" to the launch options to force it to default to directx 9. The wierd portals are from the game defaulting back to directx 8.
