acheivements not unlocking

for some reason my acheivements are not unlocking for portal. is this a bug or...? i have no idea what to do.

Did you play with the developper's commentary? Apparently the game turns sv_cheats on when you do it, so you can't get any achievement.

i have unlocked some of the acheivements, but not all of them. i'll try the commentary though :)

If you have cheats on, the game won't give you acheivements. I think that's because the game thinks you cheated to get the acheivements. If you have sv_cheats set to 1, that is.

Does that make any sence to you at all?

thanks, i'll check if it has cheats on :) if i change the cheats to off, will all the acheivements i have previously unlocked show up on steam?
