Attemp to kill chell -> nothing wrong with that..it's a super computer that became evil (hence no staff on those observation rooms)
voice malfunction -> i think it's to enfatize the key words, but maybe it's because of all those extra cores inserted into her so she wouldn't kill everybody

GLaDOS is a very good liar-- also in the end song it says "Now little Caroline is in here too" meaning Caroline may still exist. Who knows, really.

i think that well just play portal prelude or just watch a vid on youtube because it explains evreything that happend before chell also at the end of portal 2 she dosent delete her she just grants the gift of being free and away from apeture laboritories and gives her the companion cube but no cake so that proably sums it up also the sicentists were killed by nerotxin

I think the voice problems have either been caused by the cores, or by how she may have other Test Subjects, and recorded these messanges like Cave did, and the tape is old, and...well...it's a little broken. But the attemps to kill Chell is because (I think) Aperture Science doesn't want their Technology out into the open. Imagen (can someone help me with the spelling?) how we'd react to living cores & The Aperture Science Hand-Held Portal Device!
