Orange Box question

According to this faq if you already own some games in the orange box, then by activating it gives you giftable copies of them. Half Life 2 is mentioned, and below there is an image of portal bundle and portal.

So anyone had experience with that? maybe if I own portal and activate the orange box, do I get a portal giftable copy?
