Can anyone change fov over 90?
For Portal 2, the fov can be changed to whatever I feel like via cl_fov 110.

However, in Portal 1, no command that I use is having effect. It doesn't even seem to change it to values within the non cheat range. Sv_cheats 1 needs to be enabled and none of the following commands work:
fov "xx"
default_fov "xx"
fov_desired "xx"
fov "xx"
And cl_fov "xx" seems to not even be recognized for Portal 1.

I hope it's not necessary to argue with people that poop on threads they don't agree with. I'm just looking to play a single player game the way I'm comfortable. One of these commands used to work for Portal 1, I just haven't played it in a couple years and wanted to give it another go.

just use viewmodel_fov xx

So Portal 2 supports FOV higher than 90, but not Portal 1?

confirmed, can't show higher than 90 in Portal 1, disapointing.

People need to get off this 'necroing' idea. If an issue stll exist, time is immaterial.
