green screen on steam link

Running on ubuntu with nvidia. The game runs on my pc, but I get a green screen on my steam link. I've tried changing the resolution and windowed vs full screen, but so far I have not gotten it to work.

for what its worth, I tried downgrading my nvidia drivers from 384.90 to 340.104. This created a garbled green screen (text and graphics) instead of the pure green screen that was observed on 384.90. Not sure if this is an nvidia issue, a game issue (everspace is the only game that does this to me) a steam link issue, or a combination. I bought this game to play on my couch, so if I cant resolve it, I'll have to ask for a refund.

Steam Link currently does not seem to be working with Unreal Engine and Linux - at least we've received about 4 reports of others as well. We'll pass this info on to Epic so they can hopefully address it.

thanks, I had to refund the game, but if/when it is fixed, please let me know and I'll re-purchase it.

This is not just an Everspace issue. Its affecting CAT Interstellar, Stellar Overload, and helium Rain. The common denominators seem to be UE4 based games, Steam link, Nvidia drivers, and Linux...

@rockfish_andi: could you please push EPIC hard on this? I have submitted a request for valve to look into it as well, but it would go a long way to get developers behind us.

Same here, green screen on linux. An another game with the same problem _observer ( unreal engine too ... ). A fix would be really welcomed :)

Thx for the infos. I hope a fix will be available soon, and will solve the problem with all the mentionned UE4 games. Would be great !
I have to admit that steam controller + couch + tv + steam link = my preferred gaming setup now ....
