1.54 Update?

I wonder if anyone know how you can s top steam from updating spellforce platinum to 1,54? A friend of mine and me own the same version of Spellforce Platinum but his steam updated it on 1,54 and mine don't why is that so?

you think it will update the shadow of the phenoix bug where cutscenes replay? I reallllly cant stand getting the intro cutscene everytime I need to go to an area I went to before, and you cant skip it to my knowledge.
