Glowing things
What are the glowing things on the ground that look like mini vortexes in SP1 that are not lootable bodies?

fireflies are flies that give light in the dark.

From what I have noticed, they appear to be enemy spawn points that are destroyed in a burst of light when you destroy nearby enemy buildings.
