Why would the developer have to spend resources to fix a problem that was caused by Steam?
Assuming this problem could even be fixed on the developers side, which I have my doubts for.
Blackguard, I suppose you also tried the patch+modloader in order to start the game?
It prevents Steam from being involved.
There are some exceptions when you use certain hard/software.
I know that Kaspersky and Norton cause problems with the games, and so does certain Logitech software. You can disable these though.
If only someone popular would make a freakin video about it maybe they'd move off their fat asses to do something about it :|

It's simply an appaling customer service that they are doing in regards to this ♥♥♥♥, as it's the app's fault here not the game. And instead of looking for ways to fix it, as people still complain about this, they are just doing nothing. Thanks steam, in my eyes you are getting nearer and nearer to the Uplay and Origin level of sutomer care nowdays.
They are looking into it,unfortunatly its a downside of having soo many games esp on the older side that use various diff/same apps for compatability between old/new hardware and systems which makes it much harder to pinpoint were the issiue is.
I do wish steam would post about it better tho the lack of feed back is frustrating.
Nordic Games is removing all of their games from the site.
