$(@*ingh hackers...
So I start a game, then some guy drops in with a name thats just a bunch of giberish. He has 999 ammo, and picks up one sample in the game. I suddenly picked up 9999 samples...leave game, go back, I now have 999 research points...


Im...really annoyed right now...

That's fairly ♥♥♥♥♥♥... I'm the kind of player that likes to make his own progression. Half of the fun is doing it yourself if it's a chore to do then the game is a chore to play in my books. Someone pressing a button and giving me everything would completely ruin the game for me.

Im still upset by it. If you see anyone that has 999 clips, or if they seem to have an ungodly amount of ammo, I would either kick the guy, or just leave the game. This guy seriously ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me.

I have only encountered the one so far. But yea, it screwed my game up hardcore. I find the research points to be a reward for actually beating a really hard mission (and some of these missions can be bloody rough), so having someone come in and go "har har 999 points kthnxbi" annoys the piss out of me. Hopefully it wont be hackerville, but if I see another one, im just going to play privately or with friends.

don't spend any points just in case and contact support to see if they can do anything for you on adjusting it.

don't know if they can but it's worth a shot.

There is no anti-cheat at all. Coop games often get overlooked, but it still detracts from the experience. Hopefully you guys don't run into too many cheaters :sider:
