We're developing the game using Unity, so publishing to Linux "should" be easy. However, because we don't have a Linux machine to test it on I think we'd need to get this setup first ... or at the very least a bunch of people in the community that would be willing to try it out, so that's why we haven't committed to it.

Virtual machines and dual booting. Do all your work and compiling in a linux VM, then boot into linux for real world testing.

What you are waiting for? You can setup a beta via steam. So everyone which owns the game can participate as Linux tester. This way you will get lots of willing testers :SBpenguin:

To setup a linux machine is easy. Just give it a try. It's easier then you might think :)
