• Added Korean as a supported language
• Minor localization fixes
• Resolved an issue with the Once Upon a Time achievement
• Improved Windows Controller support for the Xbox One controller
• Minor graphic optimizations

Please let us know if you all are seeing differently in the wild (especially those experiencing the controller or launch issues), and if so PLEASE contact our team at support.aspyr.com so they can dig in for data.

OpenGL renderer is still removed... Can you please add it back??
I made a full patch for 3D Vision relying on OpenGL (under Windows).

https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/891735/3d-vision/layers-of-fear-3d-vision-support-thread-unity-5-opengl-/

Game simply crashes when I try to launch it with "-force-opengl".

It worked perfectly fine until this month's patch.

Thank you!

There was no need to delete "If Layers of Fear doesn't start after the last updates" thread. You said that fix breaks the game with this patch, but it doesn't!
Just inverted all changes, downloaded this patch and made the changes again. The game runs and works perfectly with it (still not with this patch itself).
So I'm gonna bring that thread back.

Thats cool, but to be clear, if the user doesnt invert the changes, the game does in fact break after today's patch. I agree, its an easy fix/workaround but a lot of users could get confused.

Thanks Blair, for ignoring my comment in the process:) Very appreciated.
Don't know why I bother even to post here. By the way I am a dev myself...and is very wonderfull when somebody pays money for something and then you "patch it out":) ... not.
Keep up the good work;)

Is it a reason to remove the whole thread? It was quite enough to add some info in it to let people know how they can install the patch correctly and continue to play. Now all those who hasn't seen the thread yet will be definitely confused with or without new wonderful patch.
Actually I could shut up an just play the game myself but I hate when people aren't able to do the same just because they don't know how to avoid the problem and noone can help, even the devs.

What was the issue with the once upon a time achievement? Worked fine for me (I think)

Sorry man, I'm not ignoring you at all...the post was up for 30 minutes, and I ducked into a meeting. I answered Sus quickly before that meeting because I dont take deleting threads lightly (especially for someone that is being super helpful and not a troll.)

To your question. I'll dig with Bloober as to why that render path was removed. My quick guess is shaders, but that is beyond my knowledge set.

I hear ya, and its tricky. My worry was people wont read down to my comment about the changes breaking the game post patch If you will update the thread with those details, I'm happy to un-delete it.

There was a few minute delay in receiving the achievement.

Oh I see. That didn't happen to me, but as an avid achievement hunter I appreciate you guys updating potentially glitchy achievements :)

Thank you! Sincerly!
I didn't realise you literally just pushed the patch!
I know how meetings are and go:(

If they can't bring it back (which is a real shame) can they at least offer the March version as a variant (where OpenGL was fully featured). The best example that comes in my mind is both Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider (2016). Nixxie offers all versions of the game in steam under:
- Game properties
- Beta Tab
- "Select the beta you like to opt into" combobox;)

We also made a 3D Vision patch for that game that relies on a previous variant of the game (before they changed their renderer) but Nixxe always maintained the previous versions of the game;)

Perhaps this is the easiest approach and would still be awesome if a solutiin like this can be achieved;)

Thank you !!!

Its something to consider, and we did it on KOTOR II. Now that you got me thinking on this however, I'm realizing that users would not have access to the DLC in that branch :/

Actually if you'll ping me at pr@aspyr.com we can continue the conversation there. Sound good?
