Daeva Fight (Hardcore)
Has anybody got any tips for this fight? It's insane and it is driving me round the bend :p

She spams fireballs that home in on you and they knock 800 health off each! I'm aware you can block them but she also spams insta-gib columns of fire. Both of these attacks combined with Anjali being utterly cretinous just make this fight a complete chore.

I was really enjoying the DLC until this point but now I'm loathing it. There is no fun to be had spending 38 hours straight running in circles and whittling tiny bits of health off a boss only for a mis-timed button press to mean instant death, then going back to the checkpoint and having to clear the room for the fifty quintishillionth time.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

I don't recognise the name but is that a boss in the temple or the vault in the DLC Aranoi desert. I wrote a thread called DS3: crucial tips. I think you might find something in there to help.

Been attempting this fight on and off for two days now and I genuinely feel life would be better if I got a tropical skin disease and smashed my head off a rock. Congratulations on successfully entertaining me Obsidian

Is there any squad commands in this game that I just seem to have overlooked? There is not a word in the English language that manages to describe just how utterly useless Anjali is in this fight. It has me absolutely fuming!

Everything else I've encountered in the game on this difficulty has been tough but doable, this fight just seems cheap and I've spent so long on it that it has successfully made me despise the game and not want to buy any future Obsidian titles :p

Same here. Block coupled with superior timing. And all that kiting.

# You bogged down here

- This article is quite in demand. Beginning and end of all sorrow is this place. Don't Lose Your Head. This fight is got what it takes. This is not an isolated case. Do you remember the fight against 'Rajani'? No rose without a thorn. No smoke without fire. No sweet without sweat. :)

So how fight this battle? The motto is shoot & run or block & roll! And after the first sequence of enemies you fight alone against Daeva. That takes time.

First and foremost, it is important to stay alive and dodge the opponents attacks! There is time enough to study the enemy and then strike at the right moment. Just then you should use all your skills and abilities to stop Daevas attacks. With Anjali it goes also very good! Depending on the style to play, Anjali can draw attention to itself so that the NPC companions or co-op partner can attack. But be careful! Daeva is active again!

Well, I remember very much like to the games where I joined. The fight was ending after a few minutes. Otherwise I also had great difficulty. Often because it is the one doesn't have the right armor items or the game figure was set incorrectly.

Then it is a true art (click orgy) & (jump and run) to master the fight.

Granted, some opponents are very difficult to defeat but that makes DS III so crisp!
