Nope, fixed characters here. You can't play a custom made mage anymore, who also wields a sword or an archer which is able to use some spells. DS3 differs greatly from it's predecessors which were made by gas powered games. There is also no tactical options anymore and it ain't point and click. Action rpg here with keyboard movement or controller. It's more similar to games like Torchlight

This games only saving grace is the fact I got it for free when I bought a videocard. It's a crap game compared to the other 2.

They really could have made a better game. It does not have the Dungeon Siege feel to it.
