Port account to Steam?

I have a normal account, as I've been playing for years on the normal launcher. Was wondering if there's a way to transfer the characters to the Steam account, or even better: link both accounts, so I can use the Steam platform, instead of a separate launcher.

I'm not sure if I entirely understand your question.

If you install Rift through Steam and click "Play" it will launch the Glyph launcher regardless and you'll have to sign in with your Glyph / Trion account.

Don't know of a way to bypass the Glyph launcher as it's used for updates (I never receive Rift updates from Steam).

and for others reading this ... you can move all data from original Rift directory to the steam directory to have less to download :-)
