Looking like i need to restart..... again.

So the first time I restarted was my fault, I didn't know about the lenses. This second time... I ended up with two of the gems in the third area, from the train and orientation tapes. Now maybe because I have two, the next door won't take either, the door next to the 'which tape am I in'. I had watched a walkthrough at that part so I know I was in the right area and stuff. When it didn't take they gem/key from the orientation tape is when I grabbed the train one but yeah, it doesn't want either. I literally just restarted to go back and grab the lenses... not super enthused to play more now, which is unfortunate because I really love the game design.

Anyone else had this problem? Anything to do about it? Seems like the only way to fix it is completely restart so I have only the train tape gem.

I remember there was a puzzle in one of the factorys where you had to start power to the lock before you could use a gem on it.
