Game won't launch.

I'm using Win7Pro. Launcher EXE crashes immediately after the bitmap launch splash screen (before anything switches to full-screen graphical mode). Any ideas as to what can be the problem?

I'll have to uninstall it if I can't get any decent ideas within a reasonable timeframe (~ 1 week)...

Would really love to play this game, as I'm a serious NASA-nut...
