First "Real Challenge" level crashes the game

I stumbled upon the Real Challenge world yesterday, but when I hit the button to make the RUSH cubes start moving, the game crashes on me. I tried the level three times, all with the same result.

Is there anything I can do about this? If it makes a difference, I'm using the GNU/Linux version of the game.
