I guess you're unaware of the titans/classic controversy?
Pretty straightforward. If people felt defrauded by uber but wanted to get the full version of the game they paid for without paying those that defrauded them a second time, humble bundle is the best option.
My copy of titans was a gift, so I bought a humblebundle copy for someone else. 100% EFF split. Now they have full access to the game they paid for and refused to buy a second time, and Uber was not rewarded for their fraud. That's a pretty decent resolution I felt :)
But sure go head and get it while donating 100% to charity and while your at it you should give all your pay to charity also otherwise your no better than Uber. Who needs money anyways.
What exactly are you asserting isn't true?
Your obvious anger at EFF donors is wildly misplaced.
It's hard to imagine a better use of money given the power of the net to empower the weakest among us.
Seriously dude, what is wrong with you?

What if we just get the bundle and set the PA:Titans amount to $0.00.
The rest of my comment is relates to how Innomen thinks game developers don't need a paycheck.
For one, don't lump in Uber with all game devs. Yes I'm an IPL abolitionist, but that doesn't mean all devs are guilty of fraud. And certainly not to the same degree even if.
What devs "need" (above and beyond millions of dollars already paid?) and what they should be allowed to do to get it are different things. I need money too, should I be allowed to defraud to get it? (Not that you care about truth or ethics to any substantive degree.)
Guess you want to be martin shkreli when you grow up. Same exact mentality. Same business model in fact. Selling copies of a chemical that are nearly costless to manufacture for whatever markup and by whatever means won't land you in jail.
Your assertion that Uber agreed to put the game in the bundle for purely charitable reasons is cultish and worshipful insanity. Next you're gonna tell me Monsanto exists only to feed the world's starving children and JPMorgan Chase wants nothing more than to extend small business loans and help young families establish credit and buy homes.
Please.
They did it for money, PR, and exposure. They did it for profit like they do everything else, which you yourself just asserted was totally legitimate behavior anyway, because Mah Monies.
Reminder: They censored my artwork. Drink that in. That tells you all you need to know about how right they know I am.

Your attempt to paint Uber as the victim in all this is Epic level gaslighting.
Not that any of this matters. I consider it all settled more or less given the state of things.
The rest is a mostly meaningless historical debate. I have no desire for vengeance on Uber. I simply wanted to make people aware of this opportunity to right an old wrong.
That didn't occur to me as an option because I always set the split to 100% charity. But I'm assuming you're saying it lets you split to specific devs as well? Cool, if so :) Yay for choices.
In any case, something like that is exactly what I suggest everyone do. (IMO 100% charity split to the EFF is the most ethical configuration of pay but that's up to each buyer.)
Either way, Uber has been paid Quite enough already. Millions in fact. The bulk of which was extracted under false pretenses. While failure to gain is not loss, thus this isn't a punishment of Uber, at least those that already paid for "classic" finally have an opportunity to get full access to what should have been an update without bending to Uber's fraudulent cash grab.
And beyond that, anyone buying in to PA for the first time in this way helps to offset the massive extra gouging suffered by the early access steam adopters. And arguably even the kickstarter backers, some of whom paid hundreds of dollars for a game that ultimately was abandoned.
(Wake me when there's multiplayer GW.)
Ignore this spam posting idiot.
> Innomen is a lying troll
Neither of us believe that. Even your own side says I need therapy. Which implies I'm not lying, I'm crazy.
Never mind that my behavior is 100% consistent with my asserted position. Which is the opposite of a troll.
If I was a troll why on earth would I do it here where like maybe 15 people will see it?
And what am I lying about exactly? If you can find factual errors in my comments I'll happily admit it. Why wouldn't I?
> I recommend therapy.
Because rejection of fraud is illness when you're religiously defending fraudsters. X)
Don't worry, you won't see much of me after this. The bundle ends in 3 days. But hey we can talk a little bit until then :)
The reason I came back is because I said back in the beginning that the only way I'd personally pay for titans is via a humble bundle. I predicted titans would end up in a bundle possibly over a year ago. (I don't care enough to search it.) Obliviondoll bought me a copy early but I came back and paid it forward by buying a copy via humble for someone else. I consider my account settled on that score.
I thought about trying to get my mods compatible and gave it a solid shot, but they were never popular anyway and my heart just isn't in it.
In any case I wanted to alert people to the option of 100% charity split. Mission accomplished, and you're all helping :) Thank you for bumping my thread :) I hope you'll continue to do so for the next 3 days. As of now there have been 77K buys on that bundle.
But really guys, the fact that you'd all rather see Uber get paid than the EFF conclusively proves your complete lack of ethical priorities generally. I can only imagine the train wreck that is your morality. I kinda wish I could study you all.

Have a great weekend all :)

PA has been in the Humble Bundle multiple times (once per year) so you predicted nothing.
