Achievements won't unlock

I finished the adventure and challenge mode, cleared LOADS (way more than 20) of thorn plants and passed level III two times, still achievements "Stage 3 Clear" and "Weedwacker" won't unlock. How come? The game never crashed or whatsoever...

I'm working on a patch which will grant you achievements from all previous stages, so this will not happen again.
I'll take a look at the Weedwacker achievement too. Do you see these achievements as unlocked in the Achievements menu?

They actually appear as unlocked in the game, but not on Steam. It's not such a big deal however, just a bit frustrating when it's one of the first games I manage to get all the achievements! =)

I think I have the same issue. Steam overlay was way messed up last night for no apparent reason. It kept crashing, and popping up as loading over and over and over again, seemingly randomly. Finished a level, but didn't get the achievement for it. Not a huge deal, since I don't really care about achievements, but just thought I'd add another voice to the discussion, and also let you know about that weird Steam overlay issue (never happened any of the previous times I played the game, so have no idea what's up with that).

OK, just posting again to confirm that the Steam achievements are not working. I unlocked 4-5 of them today. They unlocked in the game, but not on Steam. I had the same Steam overlay issues today as yesterday (as noted in the post above). Two days ago, and previously, everything worked perfectly fine. As far as I remember, absolutely nothing changed between yesterday and the day before (no game updates, no Steam updates), so I really have no idea what the issue could be. Oh well...

DOH!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for yet another post, but just as I was closing Steam, I noticed the game screen said the achievements DID unlock! My bad. The notices just never popped up in Steam because of the overlay issue, I guess. My bad. So it appears that the achievements are working, but possibly there is just an issue with the Steam overlay (unless it's just on my PC). Sorry for the false alarm.

I had some problems with Steam overlay too (in Super Hexagon), so maybe Valve messed it up in the last update? I don't know.

Oh, also one thing: Patch will be released later, I'm working on Eternal Bundle[www.eternalbundle.com] and I don't have much time (and window resize I wanted to add was completely broken on Mac).

The beta version, I believe, still does not unlock any achievement. You have to switch to the non-beta version and then the achievement should unlock (once you flip through the achievement pages in faerie solitare).

I can't get my last two acheivments to unlock, and I know I have completed all of them. It's really bothersome and frustrating. This is by far my FAVORITE game on Steam, and I'm just dissappointed =( I still can't wait for the 2nd one though.

Which version are you having this issue with, the Mac or Windows version? Some people have reported that they just have issue with achievements getting registered with steam on macs with varity of games. As a work around for those people, the suggestion is to use wine just to get the achievement to register.
