[Windows] Game doesn't work as expected / bluescreen after launch
  • Right-click on Faerie Solitaire under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
  • Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
  • Add -DIB as a launch option (this enables software rendering mode) and click OK.
  • Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

What issues does this address? I've honestly not experanced anything odd & I was just wondering what it's meant to be.
Running on WIndows 8.1 Preview.

Some people have older computers / hardware which plays weird with the game + Steam overlay. -DIB forces a different render mode which can be more compatible, will still count as the game being played, but won't display the Steam overlay in game.

Hello, my game opens normally but when I try to play adventure or any other game modes, game just returns to main menu. I did as you said but no luck -win 8-
Is this work for blank cutscene too? In every cutscene I only see the texts but no picture at all. Just black.

Edit: I tried the -DIB and it's work. Now the cutscene is not blank anymore.
