Great game would like to see more added to it in sequel
Loved the game hope it sold enough for you to make a another game. Plse add more resolution options 640*480 is hard on my eyes. Make the pets interactive somehow or make it so that they add another power to the game. I would love to see more animation in the game and better sound effects the music and the burning sound was very annoying. Anyone else have any ideas for the next sequel to this game?

Yes i totally agree. It was actually a great way to teach my son math & i wished the pets were animated. I'm still perplexed as to why they didn't add this obvious inclusion & i'm still unsure why they are even there in the first place but other than that i'm really glad i got this game.

Yeah probably a small indie developer to save money they went with the static art.

Actually on that topic i think a game like this for kids would be a fantastic idea. Instead of real cards they could have numbered decks from 1-20, a small spin-off that could included classic story tales although i'll be honest & say my kids would get bored as they've read them hundreds of times but still a marketable idea as they are royalty free, i think. The same game mechanics would apply but of course those eggs would have to be animated & spruced up to make them more appealing to kids.

I was actually surprised this wasn't already in the game. I assumed they would each have some small ability like the Faerie Land towers, and whichever pet you had 'active' would grant its ability.

Yeah you would think so but nope just a cute back story on the creature when he matures. When I first heard about the game I kind of thought it would be like the pokeman series in a way, where the creature would grant you a bonus or power.

Pets were originally designed to be much more involved, but I cut down to the essence of what I thought was still fun (collecting, discovery) because development time was already over, and at the time we were super poor and needed to release. I'm passionate about pet games - the first game I made was a pet game, and we will make more games with more involved pet mechanics in the future.

The remastered version support a higher resolution than most monitors available and will be coming early next year on Steam - you'll get it free if you already have FS before it's released.
