I would rather suffer in Diablo 4

This game fell off hard and it's sad... I was thinking about coming back to this game because of how hooked I was when I first started playing way back. Devs went full greed with recent changes and it even makes D4 look good. With current prices this game and all the classes are 110$... With that same money you can buy D4 (70$) and Last Epoch (35$). Which is not only less money than Hero Siege, but D4 and Last Epoch have INFINITELY more content together than this game will ever have by itself.

I originally played this game back in 2018. I saw they did some updates since then and thought I'd give it a shot.

This game is nothing like it used to be. It used to be in the same genre as Soul Stone Survivors, Vampire Survivors and other games like those.

Now the developers have turned this into a Diablo/Path of Exile/Grim Dawn clone, which itself isn't bad. The bad part is that they're monetizing the heck out of it and making you pay $5-$8 extra PER CLASS that isn't included in the base game. I know Blizzard did this with Diablo 3 with the Necromancer class, but this takes it to the next level.

They also only include one tab in the stash chest for your character and one tab of shared stash for all characters to use. Then they charge $5 per extra tab. If you're going to charge $8 for your game, at least give more tabs in the shared stash if you're going to charge for extra tabs.

I know Path of Exile charges for Stash Tabs, but the game is FREE and they give you 4 for FREE when you start playing. On top of that, you can get 6 Premium Stash Tabs for $20 or $15 for 6 Regular Stash Tabs in PoE compared to $5 for one in Hero Siege.

On top of all the Monetization and paying $8 for the game, you can pay for Hero Siege+ which is $5 a month that isn't really worth it.

Conclusion:

Hero Siege started out as a decent game and it was turned into a cash grab.

Just play Grim Dawn or Path of Exile. Maybe Titan Quest since it's using the same engine as Grim Dawn. Maybe go back to the original Diablo or Diablo 2.
