Yes, But you need to use a joy2key Program :(

After some digging, DosBox just picks up the controller itself, though the stick control is extremely eratic. This Joy2Key doesnt sound too bad though.
The first game recognized my 360 controller without using 3rd party programs. Will let u know about number 2 once I get to it.

I have had good luck using the program called "Xpadder". Like Joy2Key, you can assign keys to any controller button you want. I use an Xbox 360 controller to play some Steam games and it worked great with EWJ1+2.

Actually, Earthworm Jim 1 and 2 both have native gamepad support(As long as your PC registers the gamepad as a gamepad), although the calibration in the first one is absolute hell(You'll know what I mean if you ever use it), so just use the DOSBox Keymapper.

I definetly recommend xpadder I was sad when I found out this was just a dos box repack though =/
I recommend Saturn version of EWJ2 for controller support.

PS1 version is also valid, as it's the same thing, just on the PS1. Plus, it'll play just fine on a PS2 or PS3, and it's pretty common to find online.
