Yeah I was really excited too cuz I thought this was the HD version thet they had released. You saved me from a bad purchase.
I still like to have this version, though, since it's the only version of Earthworm Jim 3D or 2 that I own.
Oh, and I'd like to add something to this - something very important - and that's that the best version of the game is the Windows 95 version(It's a perfect PC port of the Mega-CD/Sega CD version, with a few bits added, such as 256-colour graphics instead of 64). It works on all versions of Windows from 95 upwards, and should work on Linux via Wine. Although, I'd like to point out that the Win95 version has a sound bug on XP and upwards that can be fixed really easily(Google "Getting the Various Versions of Earthworm Jim to Work on New PC" and scroll down to the section on the Win95 version for the fix. It takes 2 minutes or more depending on your internet speed).
So, TL;DR, the Windows 95 version is the best one(Mega-CD/Sega CD is second place), and if you get a sound bug, read what I said in the brackets just before this paragraph.
EDIT: The Rocketworm Forum was taken down, so the steps to fix EWJ are as follows: Copy all the files to your Hard Drive(You'll be running the game from this folder, although you'll still need the disc in your drive or it will refuse to run), download WAIL.DLL(It should be the version from 2003, if I remember correctly), and replace the one that is in the folder that you copied all the files to from the EWJ CD. When you want to play the game, put the CD in your drive, and run the game from WORM.EXE inside the ASSETS folder of where you copied all the Earthworm Jim stuff to. Enjoy. :)
