I'm trying to push more content out to the beta next week but I'll set aside some time to attempt a Linux build. I'll post here with any news but I'll aim for at least a working version by the end of the month. You all have been incredibly patient about this.
And if you need help with porting to Linux, I'm sure all of us here are more than willing to help you. Because more awesome high quality games on Linux are always awesome ♥
Where I expect the trouble shooting to come in is some of the shaders (how UE4 converts blueprint nodes to HLSL) and possibly some problems with the draw calls. The controls and game logic shouldn't be a problem.

Looks like some textures and shaders didn't compile correctly, so we've got to track down those issues. We'll be working on this over the next few weeks, so stay tuned! We'll keep you updated.
Until then!
Well, it is awesome to hear you're on it, keep up the good work and take your time :)
as soon as it is available for linux, you've got my buy!
:)
Holy cow, this is great. Thanks for the heads up. Just to update this thread we are going to upload a test build to the linux branch just to make sure everything is working between the 64,32 bit windows and the linux on the Steam end. The second linux update should have DOG and the terrain. If that doesn't blow anything up we should have the project on par with the windows version by the third update. It isn't perfect but I think it's the best path forward. The first patch will be this week for sure. I'm just trying to clean some stuff up on the windows side before I push all of them.
Thanks again for you patience and all the help
