HTC Vive support?
As the title says, will there be support for the HTC Vive ? I bought this a while ago to play in VR but just saw that you only have the Rift under supported for now. Any plans on changing that ?

Yes, It should support the HTC Vive by default since it uses the Unreal Engine 4. I do not have it listed because I cannot personally verify that is true (I do not own a Vive ).

Those should work too BUT they should have very limited ability. You will only be able to swipe with them similar to the leap motion. Sorry they aren't fully integrated. I just don't have a pair to work with.
Not to pressure you or anything but are you getting a vive once its released ?

I'm not sure. I'll probably wait to see what people say about it and if there is anything past the capabilities of the Oculus Rift I can introduce into the game.

You should send a free copy to one of the many Youtubers who have a Vive. Would be great publicity and I'm certain most people with VR headset would be inclined to purchase.

That's a really good idea spec24. I'll start looking for some smaller channels with Vive videos. I'm more curious about whether it will work or not.

Check out "TribalInstincts". He does some quality videos in my opinion.

I got my vive a couple of days ago and could gladly test the game for you - although i have not streamed something ever XD i could defnately write a review and/or feedback regarding vive functionality. sadly i already blew all my games budget ( way mor than the usual) this month otherwise i would just buy , try , and refund if its not working at all for me

I'll spend a little more time messing around with it, but I couldn't get it to run... Launching from the desktop, it told me it would open in the VR HMD. Nothing happened after I Unreal launched. Launching from the HMD, it says it's starting (in theater mode), but nothing happens.

Sorry this took so long, I haven't looked outside of my VR catagory of games since I got the Vive.

No problem, thanks for trying. This is kind of a weird situation since the game handles all the VR from inside the game. Wish I had a Vive to troubleshoot it myself.
