I bought it when it was first released. Great game, I loved it. Don't know how much my perception of the game is warped by "good old memories". I think you should give it a try. At 66% off even more so.

Years go by, but Sacrifice still remains as one of the best games I have ever played.
Of course graphic is outdated (not as much as one would expect), but gameplay is still great. It's a non-linear game with fun character progression and very, very good story. Dubbing is also done greatly - but I haven't heard English one, only Polish, and I have heard it for a dozens of times.

I haven't played it recently, but agree that it was great when it was released in 2000. I suspect that it holds up reasonably well - it is not a genre that has been refined extensively since then, which should help it feel less old. I can't think of much else in the genre (3rd person, squad-based real time strategy) outside of some parts of Brutal Legend.

The writing was interesting, the voicing great, the spells were over the top and lots of fun when you get to the upper tiers. I can't imagine that it won't provide you at least $4 of entertainment.

for someone like me that don't like RTS is this game worth? i like rpg\arpg,action..not rts as Spreme commander, or starcraft..

Definitely, it's a wonderful choice! Trust me, and I'm trying to don't be biased, but I can't see how I can find someone who won't like Sacrifice. I guess my dad that doesn't like action games but does solitaires and puzzles or browser games.

I wouldn't consider it to really be an RTS - it's much more small-squad-based. Watch some video reviews to get a sense of it, but it's more like action-RPG with some RTS elements.
