Crashing when leaving vault 13

I cant go to shady sands or vaut 15. Eveytime I go there the game chrashes.
I have installed the fix. Is there annything I can do?

Did you install the fix before or after the bug occurred?

There is a known crash that seems to be affecting people particularly at shady sands. The creator of the patch is aware of it and is patching it. He is also working on a couple other new bugs that poped up.

I am getting this crash too. Have installed both the 6.1 FIXT and 6.2 patch. No instructions with the 6.2 patch - I just extracted to a random file and then copied / over-wrote the new files into the relevant folders in my Steam installation of Fallout. No idea if this was correct or not, but yes - when I try to enter shady sands I just get a crash to desktop.

Just by way of info, I am running W7 Home Premium, 64-bit. The error message I get says "The instruction at 0047f538 referenced memory at 0000001a. The memory could not be read from".

I kinda have given upp on this. Maybe they wil fix it later.
