Rainbow glitch in cutscenes
For whatever reason Fallout 1 and 2 have this rainbow colored glitch that makes the cutscenes unwatchable. Anyone know how to fix this?

Either use the high resolution patch on which you can find on the community hub for this game, or end the explorer.exe process everytime you play the game

to end explorer.exe:
1. Open task manager
2. Go to the 'processes' tab
3. Find 'explorer.exe'
4. Click on it and hit 'end process'

This will get rid of your windows bar thing but it should fix your colour problem

To get the explorer.exe back up and running:
1. Open task manager
2. Go to the 'applications' tab
3. Hit 'new task...'
4. Type in 'explorer.exe'

I suggest you just get the high resolution patch though

Sir.Mongoose posted this. Never mind, All I had to do to fix it was to go and fine my ddraw.ini in my Fallout Folder, then went under the [Graphics] header, then found the Mode=0 and changed it to 4. This can be changed to 5 also for windowed. & it worked for me & this works for fallout 1&2.
